A special dinner begins long before you sit down at the table. It starts with a conversation: what you enjoy eating, who will join you and the atmosphere you'd like to create.
I'm Francesco Colabella, and I bring my cooking to your home. As a private chef in Venice, I take care of the shopping, cooking and table setting. Together, we create a personalised menu that reflects your tastes and the occasion you're celebrating.
My aim is to create an experience to share, giving you time to enjoy the company of your guests.

We start with the date, the number of guests and your home. We discuss the occasion, your tastes and what you imagine for the evening.

We plan the menu
We agree on a tailored proposal, taking your preferences and dietary requirements into account. Before confirming, we finalise the menu, arrangements and quote.

I take care of the shopping
I buy the ingredients for our agreed menu. In advance, we discuss your kitchen and everything needed to prepare dinner in your home.

I prepare your evening
I take care of the table and the dishes, bringing our plans to life. You can enjoy welcoming your guests and sharing the evening.

What does the private chef service include?
The service includes planning the menu with you, shopping for ingredients, setting the table and preparing your personalised dinner. We agree on all details and any additional requests before confirming.
How much does a private chef in Venice cost?
The price depends on the number of guests, the menu and the arrangements for the evening. Write to me with the date, location and number of guests: I'll reply with a personalised proposal and quote.
Can I request a personalised menu?
Yes, we plan the menu together. Tell me your preferences and let me know about any allergies, intolerances or other dietary requirements in advance so we can discuss suitable dishes.
What do I need in my kitchen?
Before confirming, we discuss the space, available equipment and table setting. This helps us plan the preparation around your home and chosen menu.
Where is the service available?

How do I book a chef in Venice?
